Kindled Minds Consulting (this site) specializes in educational and creative consulting. That means I help small business owners develop a web presence using WordPress as well as to help them develop more effective online and offline marketing strategies.  Additionally, I help educators find creative and innovate (and effective and inspiring) ways to teach their students and help teachers acquire the necessary tech knowledge so they can prepare their students for tomorrow’s tools.

In the past, I’ve consulted with companies to create more professional websites in order to increase visitor trust, engage and attract more visitors, and create more click-throughs and contacts.

About Amanda

I am a woman of many hats in addition to running Kindled Minds Consulting; one of the main ones has been teaching. For the past 10 years, I’ve worked with students and teachers in multiple states to improve academic success by using online tools and technology. I believe project-based learning is awesome and that education should prepare students for their reality, as opposed to what someone else says is their reality.

When I’m not teaching, I’m learning about WordPress, best practices, marketing, and other Internet-related fun stuff.  Or checking my email. Or reading a book (I’m currently working through Dave Ramsey’s recommended reading list).  Or watching Leverage (my favorite show).  Or watching Kick Buttowski (my sons’ favorite show).

Finally, I’m the wife of a wonderful man, a mommy of two amazingly adorable and energetic little boys, a website designer/manager, a blogger, a tech junkie, an organizer and sometimes life coach, a reader, a singer, and a wanna-be runner.
